About

I’m an enthusiast at the bench: cleaning, adjusting, and putting manual typewriters back into steady use. Not a factory service center—just careful work and clear notes on what I find.

I’ve sold a few serviced machines through Facebook Marketplace when something was ready to go—that’s also where listings and sale posts usually go first. Most of what I do is repair and restoration for people who want a machine they’ll actually type on.

How I work

Small-batch, one machine at a time—no rush jobs that skip steps.

  • Plain language about what your machine needs—and what can wait.
  • Older mechanisms get patient work; I don’t force parts that aren’t safe to reuse.
  • Photos when they help explain a repair or document condition.
  • Availability varies; message first and we’ll see if it’s a fit.

Contact

Send a short note about your model and what it’s doing—email or Marketplace is fine. I’ll respond when I can and say whether I can take it on.

Facebook Marketplace profile

Marketplace is great for photos and sale listings; email works well for repair questions too.
